When you don’t have the energy to show up

Some days the creativity flows, and some days it hides in the corners while my mind spirals about work and life and everything in between. I had the day off, and somehow the weight of tomorrow still followed me around like a shadow. It made me softer in some moments, sharper in others. Human. Tired. Trying.

But I’m here anyway.

I’m learning that consistency doesn’t always look like inspiration. Sometimes it looks like whispering instead of speaking. Sometimes it looks like telling the truth: “I’m not feeling creative, but I still wanted to be present.”

So this is me, present.

No grand lesson. No perfectly crafted insight. Just a reminder that the version of you who shows up with low energy is still worthy of being seen. Still worthy of being proud of. Still moving forward.

If you’re reading this and you feel stretched thin, overwhelmed, or already bracing for tomorrow — you’re not alone. We can be tired together and still choose ourselves gently.

Showing up doesn’t have to be loud.

Sometimes it’s enough just to breathe and say, “I’m here.”
